Terms of Service

Governing law: England and Wales. Exclusive jurisdiction: courts of London, United Kingdom. Enterprise customers may negotiate an alternative governing law clause as part of a master services agreement.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Cognaxa ("Genfinish"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using Cognaxa on behalf of an institution, you represent that you have authority to bind that institution to these terms.

2. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. Multi-tenant accounts are isolated at the database level; administrators are responsible for managing user access within their tenant.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Cognaxa only for lawful educational purposes. You may not attempt to circumvent security measures, reverse-engineer the platform, upload malicious content, or use the service in any way that interferes with other users' experience.

4. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you create on Cognaxa including courses, assessments, and learning materials. By using our platform, you grant Genfinish a limited license to host, display, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service.

5. AI Features

AI-powered features (question generation, grading, tutoring) are provided as assistive tools. Genfinish does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content. Educators retain final authority over grading and content decisions.

6. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime. We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice. We are not liable for service interruptions beyond our reasonable control.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate their account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion, during which time you may request an export.
